Meet Dr Cindy Moss As Vice President of global STEM initiatives for Discovery Education, Dr. Cindy Moss designs, develops and implements initiatives to inspire students’ curiosity in STEM. Prior to joining Discovery Education, Dr. Moss taught for 21 years then was the Director of PreK-12 STEM for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She also taught biology and chemistry. Among her many achievements, she won a National Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation. In 2011, Dr. Moss was selected by STEMConnector as one of the 100 Women Leaders in STEM. She was also selected in 2015 as one of Diversity Matters’ 100 Women leaders in STEM Innovation.
