What kinds of extra-curricular activities or hobbies do you enjoy participating in?
Answer:
I am on the Archery Team, Science Olympiad Team and B.E.S.T. Robotics team at my school. I am a Boy Scout and I love camping. I also play the trumpet. I enjoy building things and playing on the computer and riding my bike. I like to have fun.

What career do you want to pursue and why?
Answer:
When I was 5, we had a career day at my school. I have always wanted to work for NASA. The Mars Rovers influenced me. I want to make rovers for other planets.

Why did you enter the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge?
Answer:
I inherited a video camera and a friend and I started making movies with our Lego guys. I wanted to try a movie of my own.

What do you enjoy most about science?
Answer:
I like to discover things. I like to know how things work.

What science accomplishment are you the most proud of?
Answer:
I won first place in Pinewood derby. I have won several times at Science Olympiad. I was just inducted in the Jr. National Honor Society. I am proudest when I figure out something electrical and it helps my teachers or mom.
